Our Mission
At Capital Fencing Club, located in Sacramento, CA, we are dedicated to pursuing the sport of fencing and offer comprehensive instruction for all levels and competitively priced membership plans tailored to individual fencers goals.
Our guiding mission is to ensure every member has an enriching experience, fostering both skill development and competitive spirit.

Maestro Lucchetti
CFC is proud to work with former Argentine Olympian and coach of the Argentine and Peruvian national teams Marcos Lucchetti. Maestro Lucchetti worked previously in the collegiate ranks at both Princeton University and the University of San
Francisco for a total of 10 years and was the US coach for the Junior World Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Lucchetti is a fourth-generation fencing master, and is trained in both the French and Italian Schools of Fencing. He is also an accomplished, A-rated referee who officiated at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, among other assignments. Lucchetti holds degrees as a Professor of Physical Education from the Institutio Superior de Educacion Fisica in Buenos Aires, Maitre d' Armes from the French Academy of Arms in Paris and a Diploma in Business Administration.
Lucchetti is a member of the United States Fencing Association, the United States Fencing Referee Association and the Federation Internationale d'Escrime.
